I want one!!!!
No fair...
I want to rent a Christmas Tree{foot-stomp}!
You pick out your very own live tree, they deliver it, and pick it up after Christmas-WoW.
AND, to have the same Christmas Tree each and every year?-COOL!
I've seriously never heard of such a thing,
Oh to live in England!
He just so happens to deliver to Wales.......... *sigh*

Speaking of living in England!
I've been shopping/real estate for my dream cottage there, online! wink.wink.
Here a few of the cottages at the top of my list {all for sale}:
This is a fun web-site!
100 pages of cottages for sale throughout the Cotswolds of England. Most expensive are first{castles & whatnot}, than when you get to the 80th through 100th page, they are actually my favorites. Yep- the most inexpensive homes of England would make me very, very happy indeed! I don't need a castle, just give me a tiny.quaint.stone cottage! I have no need for 7 bathrooms.
I get a funny, envious pit in my stomach as I search through some of these homes this morning.
Though I've never lived outside of the U.S, sometimes/deep down, I really think I belong here, living in the Cotswolds..... *sigh*
:)
Just stumbled across your blog today. That second cottage you posted sent chills down my spine when I saw it! Its gorgeous.

I think my cousins boyfriend has a house in the Cotswolds, I should ask him for a picture! Crossing my fingers that you'll get your dream house :)
ReplyDeletewhoa! i never knew "The Christmas Tree Man" existed...but what a fabulous thing to do! i too would LOVE to live in England! those cottages are awesome...maybe Mr. Friend will surprise you for Christmas?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! There are several tree farms in our area, I wonder if any of them would start a tree delivery and pick up service...hmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteThe second cottage makes my heart skip a beat!
If you do go to the Cotswolds, you will have to stay at Byfield house in Painswick. It's THE most wonderful place. You can see pictures here: http://foundnowhome.blogspot.com/2009/09/room-with-view.html
